Formerly known as the Boynes Emerging Artist Award, the award has been updated to reflect its commitment to recognizing both emerging, mid-career and established artists who demonstrate outstanding artistic talent.
As we move forward with the Boynes Artist Award, we are committed to continuing to provide opportunities for emerging and established artists alike to showcase their creativity and receive the recognition they deserve.

The 10th Edition is closed!
The milestone 10th Edition of the Boynes Artist Award is now closed with judging now in progress.
The 10th Edition winner and finalists will be announced on the 30th May, 2024.
Upcoming 11th Edition :
The 11th Edition will open on the 5th August, 2024 at 12AM AST. Early Bird will end on the 29th August, 2024 at 11:59 PM AST with the final deadline being the 3rd November, 2024 at 11:59 PM AST.
Prize details will be announced soon, however, please note that the Residency Network will be available to the 11th Edition Winner and Finalists.

Oct. 2022 Monthly Art Award Winner Fabio Borges
Cura is Fabio Borges' first solo exhibition and an in-depth look into the healing journey of the collage artist.
The show will be running from February 23 until March 01, showcasing 23 original pieces by collage artist Fabio Borges. Cura (from Fabio's native language, Portuguese, meaning ‘cure’ in English) is the documentation of the artist's healing process. "Every element in my work represents an experience, a person, a memory or a feeling I encountered during this journey".

No, we do not require your physical works to be sent to us for the judging of this Award. This competition is solely online.

Yes, there is an application fee.
The standard entry fee is $40 USD for up to 3 artworks and $10 USD for each additional artwork (MAX 10 works)
The early bird entry fee is $30 USD for up to 3 artworks and $7 USD for each additional artwork (MAX 10 works)
